I just went and checked out the anthropologie website to have a better look at this necklace - here's a link to that http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=943740&parentid=JEWELRY-NECKLACES-STATEMENTS&pushId=JEWELRY-NECKLACES-STATEMENTS&popId=JEWELRY-NECKLACES&sortProperties=&navCount=70&navAction=middle&fromCategoryPage=true&selectedProductSize=&selectedProductSize1=&color=007&colorName=SILVER&isSubcategory=

It's worth $128 smackers and from the looks of - it's worth every bit of that! It's made with (just from a visual point of view) a very fine metallic blend yarn/wool, it would probably as a result be SUPER slippery, and a great deal of it appears to be chain stitch. It would've taken the poor Spanish slave girl that made it MONTHS just to make ONE! Not paying over $20?!What a complete NUT!!

also being fine yarn, and having tiny intricate detail it would have been made with a teeny tiny little hook.
Some people!!

It looks to me like it was made of pipe cleaners. I bet you could make it that way for under $20.

Nah! Use the close-up tool. It's like it was made out of metallic cotton.
