The Cat Gauntlett

I'd like to see them try to poo on THIS!!! Yes, this is pretty much EVERY possible cat deterrent you can think of with the main feature of plastic forks, buried in the ground - prongs up! (this is where they - the evil neighbours' cats - seem to favour pooping in particular), sprinkled with crushed egg shells, littered with orange peel and liberally covered with ground black pepper - so far, so good.

...And yes, I HAVE considered sharpening each prong individually and dipping them in vinegar....!

Oh and just to be clear - on the left against the garden edge - that is not a weed - it is a dying marigold - which is also SUPPOSED to deter Cats.... (snort)

OO I wish you luck! I do love the idea of the forks, and pepper - epically white, and lots of it - really helps as well. We put it around our house when we had kittens. They soon realized where they were not allowed to go.

While this is highly entertaining...I think if I had to pick between that, and cat poop...I'd take the poop.

Oh no you wouldn't - not if a whole pile of it was ALMOST/Practically on TOP of your radishes and carrots - which you intend to EAT!!

Have you considered an ultrasonic cat deterrent? I use lion poo in the garden, spiked security strips on the fence and an ultrasonic deterrent.. does the trick for me!

Chasing them from my property armed with white vinegar filled squirty bottle is just too much fun.
(Much to Fuzz's embarassment...)
