Ami Ana Giveaway!!

So....I am actually having a Giveaway on Ami Ana at the moment (the past week to be exact), but it would seem that thanks to Facebook's new promotion and view quashing tactics very few people, excepting a few whom I have informed directly of it, knew! :/

 This makes me sad. It probably makes you sad too.

So, in an attempt to combat Facebook's disagreeable "tactics" I am considering extending the entry time for one more day for all those whom Facebook have prevented, nay impeded from being informed of it and potentially missing out on FREE Ami Ana goodies! What do YOU all think?

Morticia and the Hulk

Here we are at home after "Trunk'n'Treat" at Church - Wombat as Hulk and me, supposedly,as Morticia Adams - but my hair just will NOT be tamed!!

Highlight of my day

I was taking my bowl and spoon to the kitchen to wash (after a delicious lunch of jelly sponge) when I had one of my frequent bouts of sheer brilliance - Monk had gone through to use the toilet and I knew he'd be back through the door in a sec - predictably neglecting to wash his hands. Soooo... instead of taking my bowl and spoon to the sink, I hid just by the back door beside the bathroom door, out of sight and waited - as soon as I heard the door open I yelled ,

"WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!"

at the top of my voice and then "sat back" and relished the subsequent fall-out.

It was the funniest thing. EVER.

(Yup, I'm STILL laughing).

She can do MAGIC!!

Earlier this week the Monk-ster and I had the following conversation. His dad had just bought him a brand spanking new "tech deck" (tiny miniature skateboard) a few days earlier and he was all hyped about it and practising doing "tricks" with it....

Monk-ster: Mum! Can you do "tricks" with this...? (He proffered the tech deck in front of him in his hand)

Me: Why YES! (I snatched it from the proffered hand, raised both arms above my head with a ridiculous overdone flourish, then lowered them slipping the tech deck into my back pocket) Ta-dah!! I made it disappear!!

Monk-ster: Not that kind of "trick"! (said with an amused annoyance) Can you do any other "tricks"?"

Me: Yes!! (I quickly slipped the tech deck out of my back pocket) - I'm going to make it "re-appear" on the other side of the room (pointing - I then threw the tech deck - concealed in my hand - across the room feigning ignorance that the Monk-ster could clearly see my "trick"). I'm MAGIC!

Then we had a good laugh.
